Welcome to issue 16 of Prismatica Magazine! Inside, you can find short stories and poetry by Fox Auslander, Diana Nnaemeka, Ismim Putera, S. A. McKenzie, Alix Perry, Briar Ripley Page, Brendan Williams-Childs, and Anthony Raymond.

After a short hiatus, I am so happy to present our second Pride Issue. I’ve personally been “out” as various identities within the LGBTQ community for the past five or so years. This is my first as a trans woman and I am happier than I’ve ever been in life.

I hope that everyone is able to celebrate their identity during this Pride month. It is important to remember, though, why we have this month to begin with. Without the support of Black trans women, our movement would not have been possible, yet they remain the most targeted of our community from hate crime and discrimination.
